Accessibility Policy – Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
This Accessibility Policy – Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) template has 9 pages and is a MS Word file.
Although every workplace in Ontario is required to comply with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act for the past ten years, many employers are not aware of the extent of these requirements.
Every Ontario workplace employing individuals must have an accessibility policy which defines what accessibility is, to whom the policy applies, ways to complain or request accessible documents and business information, and multiple other requirements as set out in the Act.
If a workplace employs more than 10 or 20 employees, it must also comply with the annual reporting obligations set out by the Act.
